Dental Hygiene
A consequent dental hygiene is not only important for aesthetical reasons but inevitable to preserve the health of teeth and gum permanently – because it is able to prevent, amongst other benefits, the occurrence of caries and severe gum diseases such as periodontitis, thus saving the patient from future tooth losses. While brushing the teeth at home is inevitable, a complementary professional dental hygiene should be followed, during which teeth are cleaned thoroughly and dental plaques (such as plaque and tartar) as well as discolorations are removed.
