Snore Splints / Gumshields
Snore splints and gumshields have both in common that they are carried in the oral cavity.
But they serve different needs. Snore splints open the throat wide enough that no respiration blockades occurs during sleep, and thus snoring can be prevented, while, on the other hand, gumshields are used for damping outer influences on the teeth.
Both, snore splints and gumshields are made of high-quality plastic and offer a high wearing comfort. They are individually produced by the dentist in collaboration with a dental technician.
