Annual School Examination

In Switzerland, an annual dental examination of all school children is statutory. All children who are required to attend school are obliged to take part, but the participation can also be extended to pre- and after-school children. The expenses for the examination are borne by the school communities. No costs have to be borne by the school children or their parents.
